Introducing Ryken Hall

LC’s New Academic Building

On May 14th, 2018 a groundbreaking ceremony was held on the Lowell Catholic Campus. In August of 2019, LC took occupancy of the new 25,000 sq. ft. building. The latest addition to the campus stands directly behind Legacy Hall. With a commitment to LC’s Xaverian sponsorship, the new academic building was named Ryken Hall in honor of Theodore James Ryken, the founder of the Xaverian Brothers.

Ryken Hall has complimentary characteristics to the other buildings on campus and retains the same look and feel of Lowell Catholic’s existing Crusader identity. The additional space allows scaling up of academic, co-curricular and spiritual life offerings in a meaningful way, enhancing the education experience of current and future students.

Ryken Hall houses a 4,500 sq. ft. state of the art Learning Commons, seven academic classrooms, an expanded dining hall, physics lab, multiple conference rooms, and administrative offices. A dedicated wall featuring the Legacy Schools was incorporated into the design of the new building and is proudly showcased. Keeping strong catholic school traditions of the past alive, as the school community continues to evolve and grow, are important to the Crusader Community. As Lowell Catholic moves forward, the LC Community is filled with great pride from their history and excitement for what the future holds. The building was open and served as a fully operational facility by the Fall of 2019.
