Commercial Estimator
Charters Brothers Construction is a dynamic and growing commercial Construction Manager and General Contractor based in Southern New Hampshire. Founded in 2005, we’re proud to celebrate over 20 years of excellence in the industry. As we continue to expand, we’re seeking a talented Estimator or Assistant Estimator to join our team. The final role will be determined based on the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new bid opportunities
- Review bid documents thoroughly and organize estimating efforts
- Submit RFIs to design teams as needed
- Attend pre-bid walkthroughs and site visits
- Solicit competitive bids from subcontractors and suppliers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
- Review and qualify incoming bids for accuracy and completeness
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and tabulate bids
- Prepare comprehensive estimates and review with the Senior Estimator
- Participate in estimate hand-off meetings with Project Managers
- Support change order pricing and project adjustments as needed
Assistant Superintendent – Commercial Construction
Charters Brothers Construction is a well-established commercial Construction Manager based in southern New Hampshire. With over 20 years of steady, responsible growth, we’ve built a reputation for quality, integrity, and teamwork.
We’re currently hiring for an Assistant Superintendent to support upcoming commercial, academic, and multi-unit residential projects. Our typical project radius is within one hour of our Danville, NH headquarters, covering southern Maine, New Hampshire, and northern Massachusetts.
Role Overview:
As an Assistant Superintendent, you’ll play a key role in:
- Supporting the project schedule and daily site operations
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff
- Ensuring quality control and safety compliance
- Maintaining clear communication across all project stakeholders
What We’re Looking For:
- OSHA 10 certification (minimum)
- Construction experience and/or education
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a desire to grow
