These bleachers and press-box were a welcome addition to Hopkinton High Schools already impressive athletic facilities. Charters Brothers Construction was tasked with designing and constructing this grandstand with a seating capacity of 800 complete with a fully operational press-box, handicap seating, and provisions for a future wheel chair lift.

As the starting point for the world famous Boston Marathon it had to be completed in time for the race. Commencing in December of 2008 the schedule was fast tracked and the project was completed a month ahead of schedule.
